Mr Paul Rafter is the founder Irene McCormack Catholic College. IMCC was originally establishe, in 2000, d by the Catholic Education Office of WA because of the increased demand in Catholic Schools. IMCC started as a school with 30 students, who were being educated from temporary buildings that were near the planned school site, in 2001. In 200 four general purpose classrooms were built: Wood& Metal work room, Art room, Science lab and a Home Economics room. As suburbia continued to develop, so did IMCC, each year a new year group was welcomed into the IMCC Community.
